A short tale of intertwining lives
When two men meet by chance outside a nightclub in Glasgow, their lives intertwine in ways unknowable to each other in this intense and erotic short tale of secrets and lies in the pursuit of love.

I'm really excited to share this new release, Michael & Me with the world. It's a contemporary story, not quite romance, not quite erotica, but it's a story I've wanted to tell for a while. It deals very candidly with HIV and gay men's relationship to the virus which is a topic I'm very passionate about, and one that I always enjoy reading and writing about.
This short story is a stand alone. I don't anticipate revisiting Patrick and Michael any time soon. However, it does bookend a new release I hope will be out later this year, which will be a contemporary coming-of-age tentatively titled All the Lovers. If you like Michael & Me, you'll love All the Lovers. Enjoy!
Reviews
Different because I've not read a story like this before. It's told from one character's point of view. Turning pages I kept thinking the other character would share his POV. He didn't. By time I reached the end of the story, I was okay with it. The short story as presented could happen, I imagine it has happened and ended exactly like this - exactly as it should have. The author told Patrick's story very well and I finished it feeling, "That's right."
I read this last night - beautifully written and authentic characters. It really captured that very specific era of the early 2000s with regards to sex and sexuality. Loved it.
